all else is perfect is this an ok part of an older building.
I strongly suggest for you have a structural engineer look at it .... if nothing else to give you peace of mind... it seems that you really like the place.

Schiller hit it on the money for demo to finish on a 3 car garage, frame, and some bells. Masonry, different story. Deck above, different story if even possible given your zoning/area. Typical height restrictions are 15' to ridge for new garages. I love seeing the roll up door to the interior yard space-- its functional and makes moving things a snap.
Watch out for volume garage builders, some of them leave much to be desired after the ink dries. Just my .02, what do I know.... more
Please read these listings carefully. This is the same property you've inquired about a few days ago. The listing says that it was listed more than 6 months ago and is listed on Sublet.com, as the listing information and the photo state. As we've all said, this is not a true listing. Please use Realtor.com or Homefinder.com if you want to see actual, current listings. And if you want a sublet, simply follow the link at the bottom of the listing to see if it's still available.... more

Hi Jessica,
Which apartment are you looking at? If I had the specific apartment in question I could find out who you should be contacting, and set the record straight on our site.
If you like, you can tell me directly by email at andrew@trulia.com, though please be sure to reference this post in that email.
Thanks Jessica for giving us a heads up on this. We're going to get you that contact information and figure out what the root problem is so that we can improve the site for everybody.
Talk to you later,
Andrew Wilkinson
