I had an estimate done and it will be between $30,000 and $40,000 to repair the damage as the column had gone through the porch and the separation has damaged the porch floor and ceiling as well as the second balcony pulled away from the hose. This estimate also includes the foundation problems on the side of the house some but not all.
Also did not find heating in the upper level except a wall mounted space heater in the master-may ne 1 other up there. Good price if you have the money to put in and replace the heating system also.... more
Where is the house? It would be a good idea to find someone that is versed in short sales or foreclosures and get all the information you can. With all homes you would either need a loan or cash. What kind of financing do you have in mind? If you are looking in Chester, I would advise finding someone in that area that is well versed in foreclosures. Good Luck.
