If your looking for New build you can also consider SaddleBrooke Ranch. Visit SaddleBrookeHomeSource.com and click the SaddleBrooke Ranch tab to get a look at floor plans.

Saddlebrooke is straight up Oracle Road about 7 minutes from the heart of Oro Valley. I feel that it is the most "active" of the adult active communities. Sun City Vistoso seems to have the higher end of the "over 55" crowd. Heritage Highlands in Marana is nice, but the houses tend to run together pretty close. I have had clients that I have taken to all 3 communities and 9 out of 10 have chosen Saddlebrooke.

It looks like you have had some really good answers to your question...
I wanted to let you know about a terrific listing in Oro Valley-Sun City but it is a bit of a fixer upper...lowest price in the area. There is another listing in Saddlebooke on the Golf Course...also the lowest price home in the area. The is a gated community called "Vistoso Highlands" off of Rancho Vistoso BLVD...located in the heart of Oro Valley with fabulous Pusch Ridge Views!
There are other pockets that are great but do not fall under the "Active Adult" community...although most of the residents are part-time residents...in very quite neighborhoods with country club amenities.
It's great to be a home buyer with the re-peat $6500.00 tax credit.
I am ready to answer your call!

Hi Gale,
As mentioned before there is Sun City Vistoso (2450) which is an active adult community +45 and older. There is also Vistoso Village Townhomes just down the road from Sun City. Six miles north is SaddleBrooke and 10 miles to the west of Sun City is Heritage Highlands (1250 homes).
You should look at all three. Location is important as well as the costs and what each has to offer. If to my web site I have Quick Links for all three as well as Sun Flower and homes in Oro Valley. Just click on them and it will bring up all the homes for sale in each community.
I myself live in Sun City Vistoso and love it.
Good luck and please feel free to call or email should you have mre questions.

Hi Gale,

The two popular 55+ communities in Oro Valley are Sun City Vistoso (http://www.suncity-vistoso.com/) and Vistoso Village, both of which are located in the Rancho Vistoso community.

Sun City Vistoso is a larger Del Webb subdivision and Vistoso Village is a more private gated community.

Heritage Highlands is also about 10 minutes to the west in Dove Mountain.

If you would like a list of properties available just let me know and I will get that right to you. I can also forward you a detailed list of recent sales in your area to give you an idea of the market value of your home.
