Absolutely. Your Realtor/Buyer Broker should confirm with the onsite company that they are offering compensation to buyer brokers, if not you would be responsible for seeing that they get compensated per you're buyer broker agreement. If the onsite people refuse to ay a commission then my advice is forget about them, as they've clearly indicated their unscrupulous and cannot be trusted. If you work with them directly you do so at your own risk regardless of anything they might say. They are there representing the builder/developers interest and not a buyers.... more
It happens all the time on early payment defaults. If someone defaulted in the first 12 months there is a lot of interest way. Everyone wants to transfer the liability. The servicer does not want the loss, the pmi company does not want the loss and the investor does not want the loss. It is the blame game to see who is responsible and if their was fraud and who comitted the fraud.
