I am relocating to Bryan TX area for Housing Choice Voucher on 12-4-14 and will start looking at Rental Units. Can you help me find homes, condos or apartments that accept the Vouchers?
My preferences: 1st Floor unless Elevator, Must have W/D in unit or W/D Connections, prefer no carpeting if possible "Allergies". Patio/Balcony would be nice if apartment/condo, would love the Independent Living Communities for Seniors/Disabled because they are very Quite and Peaceful Communities. I can't handle dogs barking constantly, Dog poop everywhere because the Owners do not pick it up, screaming kids day and night, People parting all hours. I have the Star*Plus Program with Medicaid/UnitedHealthCare that pays for certain housing and other needs as they arise. I am not familiar with it yet just got approved in June 2014. This is my first time ever having to be on any Aid so I know absolutely nothing about how any of this works, who to call, where to go to get the help I am entitled to with my Medicaid Star*Plus Waiver Program. Lastly, I am moving to a City I know nothing about or where to begin. I do know that I have only 60 days to find a place, get it approved by the Brazos Housing Authority, get it Inspected and pass inspection or I go back on the waiting list. I am Homeless as of 11-30-2014. So I have to get it all done in the 60 day window they gave me. If anyone can help guide me, I would be forever Grateful to you. Sincerely, Teresa Phillips 713-202-4782, email@example.com... more
If you can not lead the police to the DOOR of the person receiving your money, you must keep your money in your pocket.
It as simple as that.
Don't believe? Then you should contact a local attorney to oversee the transaction.
It is possible, but highly unlikely that this will prove legitimate without the engagement of professionals.
Play along. Find out how/where the oversees owner wants you to wire the money.
Do you know why they ALWAYS rely on wiring money instead of a cashiers check or USPS?
The latter two place YOU under the protections of existing US laws.
A fraudster will have none of that!
Best of success to you,
