Bridgeport is not a desirable location. I would avoid it at all costs. Especially single women or single mothers. Protection from police dept is just not possible as they are overloaded with criminal activities.
I advise you if you plane to live in this area come armed and expect danger.... more

Remember too that school zones are based on residential address and if you live in one part of town and your kids go to Black Rock that doesn't always mean that they'll attend Longfellow...but it's highly likely.... more

I just did a tour of middle schools in lower fairfield county with a client and his 11 year old son. He is deciding where to live based on the schools. We looked at Greenwich, Darien, New Canaan and Westport. Surprising what you see when you get there. Test scores are important and websites can give you that information, but NOTHING compares to visiting the school.... more
