There may be a number of streets named Pine Street so you probably need to provide more complete information for us point you in the right direction. In any case, real estate agents are not allowed to answer those types of questions as they violate Fair Housing rules and guidelines. Your best bet is to contact the police precinct in that area.

It is up to the individual to make their own determination about a specific area. If a Real Estate Agent were to comment on such a thing, it could be steering which is a prohibited act.

Probably the best thing is to call or go by the Police station on Highland Avenue across from the fire dept. station next to Western supermarket and ask the question. I suspect that they will have a very good handle on those statistics.
Also, you can drive through the neighborhood you are interested in, at a time when residents are likely to be outside, and just stop a few of the neighbors and ask them what they know. Usually, you'll find someone outside after work hours or on weekends.... more
