Bayonne is a strong market to buy a home in. Offer much in terms of school systems, diverse cuisine & proximity to the city. There has been much investment in Bayonne over the last few years and I believe it will continue. I grew up here as well and plan to make my first purchase here and investment property with 4-6 units.
The decision to buy in any area has to be your own friends and family in my opinion can be counter productive in making any decision the more people you ask the more confused you become.
Be diligent and do much research on your own. Consult professionals in the area and surrounding area but ultimately look at your goals and what you want out of an area and a property and the right choice should become clear.
