Your question can be answered by looking at historical trends. The market has changed dramatically for the worst (taking longer to sell and for less money) in the past 5 years. 5 years from now, optimistically, it should improve over todayâ€™s condition. That means if you buy now you should be better off in 5 years (taking less time to sell and making more money).

According to the MLS, the mean list price for the 32 active 4.5-5.5 acre tracts in the 32618 area code is $110,220 (median is $89,900), with a range of $35k to $205k. The mean selling price over the past year is $98,160 (median $100,000) with a range of $61k to $140k. Five tracts have sold over the past year.
