Help the community by answering this question:

The "service" provided by 2-10 Home Warranties (also known as HomeTrust) has been a completely unnecessary hardship in my life. I implore you to find a better warranty company to offer your customers. Every single call I had to make to the company was a nightmare, and I know I'm not the only one. I challenge you to find a single positive review online that's not surrounded by a thousand terrible ones. Here let me help:……

There are, of course, more. And though some of those sites specifically exist for angry customers to vent, even though no home warranty company is going to have a spotless reputation, there ARE companies that have a far less onerous reputations than 2-10. I've even managed to find a company with a near-sterling record that costs less, has a more convenient contractor policy, and is leaps and bounds above 2-10 in customer service. So I KNOW you have better options.

Please, consider what associating your company with this band of thieves does to your reputation. Do yourself AND your customers a favor and distance your business from 2-10 and HomeTrust as much as possible.

Try going throught the state first up in Trenton, they will probably be the cheapest.

We use

Not necessarily "cheap", but have worked pretty well. Cover appliances as well as other stuff in the house (air, heat etc).

Best of luck.

Hi Jerry

all these companies only offer 1 year but they are renewable every year. so you can renew every year for 10 years.

The ten year warranty you are looking for is for new construction that you usually get from the builders.

this link talks about the 10 year but only offered to builders and manufactuers

this is another 1yr company

Thanks Keith and Kinsey, I looked into both companies, but neither seems to offer a 10 year warranty.

Home Security of America (HSA) and Universal Home Protection (UHP) are the warranty companies that I know of. We personally use and recommend HSA. There's a link below with some more info.
