Facebook has been the #1 resource of business for me since I began in 2008. LinkedIn has been good for me finding help on the team and I still haven't figured out Twitter :)

Our Facebook page is designed to assist homeowners. We gather information and news and post those.

We use Twitter to promote our site. We also bring a substantial number of people here to Trulia.

Pinterest, Tumblr and AboutMe share information about us.

FB is great for reminding your SOI that you are in the business. Surprisingly, they often forget. Twitter and Linkedin to come to my mind less often, but I have them.

I think they all be great and work a little different. The truth is it depends on you, how well you utilize each one their different tools. Each, Facebook, Twitter etc all have good tools so again they work when used right.

I use main FB & Twitter along with a few chosen blog communities and that works well for me.

Trulia, Zillow, Facebook Business Page and Linked In are my top sites--I've listed them in order of importance in terms of the business they drive to me.

I am addicted to my new pinterest page. Don't know if it will bring business but it is one more tool in my social media box.

I have a FB business page, but don't think it's done anything for me, so I haven't given it much time or attention. Trulia is working pretty well, and Linked In seems to be active, but not necessarily PRODUCTIVE.

Hi Alison.

You really need to be on every single social media site there is...in the end, they all create 'juice' by driving traffic to your site, your listings, your blogs. The higher you rank, the more inquiries you get. Real Estate is a contact sport, so you need to be out there constantly JUICING your brand.

GOOD LUCK.

So far I have been getting pretty good flow of leads from Trulia. Other agents swear by Zillow.

It depends on the role you have placed on social media and the internet in your overall lead gen strategy. Zillow works well for me. Facebook juices referrals from my sphere.
