Which type of phone do you have? There are numerous iPhone applications you can use related to real estate. Here is a quick peek into some of them. Check them out of you have time.

5. Loopnet.com - Free - This site is used for searching for commercial properties.
6. Realtor.com - Free -The best real estate search tool on the market. They have more listings than any other site and update them more frequently.
7. Trulia Real Estate - Free -Find homes that are perfect for you. Search for open houses, get color photos and details on every home.

Great answer, Tammy! There are also a few I love...if you don't have them check them out (I have an iPhone so hopefully these are available on other devices too): Wikihood, Tour Narrator, HomeTracker and Agent Feedback. There are some great ones out there.

Just interjecting a little humor.

Back to the original question. The only real benefit I see is that I have access to MLS in a pinch. But I dislike having to move the page around to read it.

Nor do I, John. Nor do I.

Linda... sorry, but I don't watch Oprah, Dr. Phil, Dr. Oz, Dancing With The Stars, American Idol, Survivor, Bachlorette, or any TV, movie, or music industry awards shows. I also don't garden. But I harbor no ill will to those who do. It's a free country and I'm still a free man.
Poor Mack... be stong, my friend...

I'm thinking perhaps we should consider taking John Souerbry's girlfriend out to lunch. What do you think ladies? :)

You know, John, it could be worse. Mack would be able to tell you about that. You might have to do a little gardening.

I don't have any favorites. I really don't enjoy having to do anything on it. It is small and cumbersome. As an ex- court reporter, I can type 200 words per minute, but I have a hard time mastering the texting thing.

Funny but true, several years ago a friend and client at the time, texted (is there such a word) me and I had no clue what it was or how to respond to it. When I called him we had a really good laugh. Then he proceeded to tell me that I better get with the program. So.....................I did. I now have unlimited texting (is that a word), but still only doing it one finger at a time.

Now, give a normal size key board and..............................

NAR Express. I'd rather use a full screen computer to search the MLS, so aside from REALTOR(R).com, Trulia or Zillow, NAR Express is great to use on the iPhone while I'm taking a break during the day, waiting for a flight at the airport, or sitting on the couch sipping wine and pretending to be watching Oprah with my girlfriend. Lots of great news, information and resources.

The Sandicor App is my favorite Real Estate App for my smart phone because I can search and find homes that are on the MLS. Trulia is another good App as well.
