Make payments on your credit cards and installments on time or before. And finally, credit issuers also look at the percent of your borrowing power, so is a good idea to be at 8 percent or lower in your credit card limit.

I tell my clients who wish to increase their credit scores to verify with the creditor if anything appears on the report that looks suspect so if it is not legitimate, then it can be removed.
I also suggest that they make at least the minimum payments on their outstanding bills and pay them on time so as to not further damage their rating. And, possibly consolidate numerous credit cards into one card payment and close the rest.
Hope this is helpful.
