I'd look into Coldwell Banker, @properties, Baird&Warner to start. Branch out from there. Wherever you end up, you need to figure out what the most successful agents are doing and do the same thing.
Step up and bust your ass relentlessly. When the dust clears you'll see you have found success.

3) What will be the average price point will be working with
Find an agency that has those offerings in their listings and have a good training and marketing program. Maybe some could have a mentorship program and a great support system.
I cannot recommend something to read, but several agents get marketing ideas from Million Dollar Listings NY. Do not do anything Fredrick does, he is not ethical. I Illinois that would cost you your license.
It looks like you have received some great advice. Definitely, look to work with a broker that specializes in the areas you want to work and offers on going training.
I personally started in the business with a independent company and I can tell you I see the benefits in working with a brand people recognize as well as the training offered. I have teamed up with one of the top 1% brokers and the knowledge and hands on training is priceless.
Best of luck!

As far as brokerage is concerned, I suggest that you interview few brokers and start with the one that you feel the most comfortable working. Once you get your license, you will need to join a local REALTOR's association to have an access to MLS. Once you are a member, you can take classes (many of them are free) and I suggest that you do, so you can get familiar with the system.
You can follow advice section on Trulia, so you can learn a lot of practical advice etc.
I would also recommend partnering up with a loan officer so you can give each other referrals. I am a loan officer who works with over 40 lenders, so we have a lot of loan options that our competitors may not offer. We provide clients with free credit repair, and provide realtor training. Including accredited realtor education classes. We offer self generated leads in return for referrals. I am looking to establish realtor relationships at this time. Contact me if you have any questions or for more information.

They have a great online presence.

The best way to learn that is to partner with an experienced realtor and/or find a agency that has an emphasis on training. Some of the bigger agencies are better at that, but the boutique small independent agencies have a tendency to be focused on the individual and helping them grow. Figure out where and what you want to sell and interview with I would say 5 or 6 agencies and ask them what they have to offer. Talk to their agents too.
Very important that staff in the office working with clients are bilingues .
@ Properties is my BEST recommendation and I had worked for many others before joining @Properties. Fastest growing local real estate brokerage and the environment is nurturing, and the
training and classes constantly offered can not be better. Once with @Properties, try to connect with
one agent as your supporter.... Do a lot of open houses, learn about what buyers are asking and
what they are most interested in, and shadow the agent who takes you under his/her wings, learn
what is good to do and what is not, by watching those who have been in the business for a long time.
And learn the day in day out steps, all that is to know in detail from step one to the closing and handing in the detailed information to the office to get paid at the end of the deal....
Lots to learn, lots to remember and lots also changes.... Hope you will join @Properties and go through their intensive and detailed new agent weekly classes... You will be in good hands and you will learn the right way to do business from the start.
