I'll study and get licensed most importantly in Ca. Any ideas on agencies that hire and welcome newly licensed, enthusiastic agents? Thank you!

Thank you Pacita! I appreciate your reply. I cannot wait to become a Californian! I have been working for a top roofing/ general contractor up here in Seattle for 6 years as the Sales Coordinator, and in addition to just liking people, I like construction elements of homes. My dad was a Realtor for years in Spokane, WA, and I used to serve cookies at his open houses. My intro to Real Estate! Thank you again for the great advice!

Honestly, take your pick of brokerages. Most brokerages pretty much like any hard-working agent because you are basically paying them fees and earning them money. Don't look at it as them interviewing you but you interviewing them. You need to find the best brokerage which will work with your style, provide you the support and training you need to succeed. Remember this is an all commission job.

Thank you so much for the great advice. Windermere Rowland is actually very close to our home in El Sobrante (as of October 2013).My dad worked for Winderemere, finishing our his 25 year real estate career when he passed away in the mid 1990's (Spokane, WA). As I train, I'll have an opportunity to shadow/assist/learn the ropes from a Windermere agent in Seattle. There is a strong Windermere presence all over the PNW. I have been working as the Sales Coordinator for a prominent Roofing / General Contractor here in Seattle for 6+ years. So, in addition to loving working with people, I am still fascinated with construction, roofing, and think that knowledge might help me in this industry. Mainly, I work hard, have fun and cannot wait to become a Californian!!! Thank you again,
