NEW HOMES SEARCH IN CYPRESS

Asked by Krystal Villarreal De'Newton, Houston, TX Wed Sep 7, 2011

Hello,

I am not very experienced when it comes to new home sales, but I currently have a few clients interested in purchasing new homes. Other than searching for new home inventory in the MLS, can any of you offer some pointers on searching for builders in a certain area? I've tried newhomesource.com, but it doesn't seem that helpful.

Try searching the web by popular builder names. Many builders have their own websites showing the homes they have available. Also try the real estate section of your Sunday paper , most builders still do advertise in the paper weekly

Zillow works really well as well as twitter. I have noticed both of these websites increasing in the area or real estate.
Try http://www.zillow.com as well as the twitter pages for neighborhoods you are interested in such as: You can search on twitter these pages:

bridgelands
townelakehomes
homesincypress
blackhorsehomes
cycreeklakes
homesfairfield

Many of these neighborhoods have new home inventory.
Hope this helps.

HI Brandon--

I specialize in new homes, and just recently sold homes in two different communities in Cypress. Check out Meritage Homes in Cypress Park (ask for Terence), and Centex Homes in Cypress Landing (ask for Rich). Both communities offer 100% financing with the USDA guaranteed loan program! Check it out!

Hope this helps...

Brandon,

Sign up for an Agent's account at http://www.buildersupdate.com/. It's a searchable directory of new homes on the market. Make sure to verify all information with the sales counselor directly before taking your clients out for any showings.

That is how I do it to. Sorry for not much info. But new homes are hard to find now adays. They used to have a book that used to come out with all the neighborhoods and builers prices and all the info. I wish they still had that . It was really nice!

I go to builder web sites to look for communities in my buyers price range. There probably is a better way, but this is how I do it.
