jkapropertym…, Other/Just Looking in Ruskin, FL

I live in FL and I have been asked to manage 7 rental condotel rooms for some private owners who live out of state. Do I need a real estate license?

In Massachusetts, property managers are not required to be licensed. They would be considered an employee of the owner, where the act of renting an apartment is a regular course of their employement contract. I would check with your state's licensing board, because it does vary by state. According to the link I attached, it sounds as though it is the same in FL as it is here in MA, but it never hurts to ask and be sure. Good luck!
