I can see how Pinterest can be used for business. But I think I like just playing there. How about you?

Hi Cathy, I recently signed up for Pintrest, for fun. There are some really creative ideas and recipes on there that I can't wait to try. However, someone that is following me on Pinterest, posted some info on my Facebook timeline about an attorney (who is also a photographer) that after reading Pintrest's terms of use, deleted all of her Pintrest boards and closed her account! Long story short, repinning is copyright violation because you are repinning without the permission of the poster, and she likened it to Napster! If you will recall Napster sued anyone, of any age; they didn't discriminate! Well Pinstrest, in their terms of use, makes you, the pinner, repinner or poster, even though you give the originator credit, responsible for your actions, Pinstrest's actions, all of your legal fees as well as Pinstrest's legal fees. This, of course, is this attorney's interpretation.

Hi Cathy,

I've just discovered Pinterest and find it to be wonderful! I love discovering the many interests. The other day I began a search for a "button" for my blog... and found there are tons of pins on buttons, and I mean the kind you use with clothing and fabrics. Who knew!?!

As for playing, it is fun. I have a mixed life. I have my family and real estate, I love both, so I do both, many times a day. I see Pinterest as a way to combine what I love about both in one place. Best thing about your question is that you got me thinking more about how I wish to use it. Thanks.

Hi, Cathy.

I joined Pinterest, but to be honest, keeping up with all my other social media, leaves me little time to learn new ones. We have Facebook, FB biz pages, Twitter, YouTube, and Linked In. Now there's Pinterest and Google Plus, neither of which I've taken the time to learn though I am "on them." And of course we have Trulia. Then we have all the old school prospecting methods. It's hard to be on top of them all. I'm sure, though, that there must be ways to use Pinterest for business and I'm sure someone will be hawking webinars and training courses on it soon.
