ok this is a big business right now, here's a few things you will want to know, one you need liability insurance and a business license. When you do the bid for the clean out if it;s over a certain dollar amount the realtor may need to get two bids. find out what the max. $$ is before you bid, and do your best to stay under the max, second you must present this bid in writing. Third generally you are not paid until the bank coughs up the money, be prepared to wait 3 to 6 months for your funds. I know a lot of you are thinking wait dosen't the real estate agent pay everything in advance? in some cases yes, but for my clean outs and yard work, I ask them to wait until Im paid whenever possible. so in order to do big volumne you may also have to wait to be paid! That last sentence, is one of the main and only reasons I use my current trash out co! The other thing I look for is a co that does what they say they are going to, If they give me a date it damn well better be done by that date! as reo agents we are on strict guidelines by the bank, and we are scored in most cases by getting the jobs done on time! Also, I would suggest that you consider being able to re key a property at the same time. This would make you a one call does it all kinda co, which is something I also prefer! Hope this helps!
