Ayvette,

Believe it or not your local newspaper is a great source to find business. Market to the New Engagements, Just Married, New Babies. Look at the divorces too. Somebody may need to sell or buy. Just be professional about it. But if you just drop a marketing letter with your business card in the mail to them, it may get you some leads... Personalize it by saying "Congratulations on Your new addition" or something inspirational.... You get the idea. I hope this helps. I wish you much prosperity!

Betty,
The best way to increase your business is to be more productive and work more leads. I can actually help you get more from the internet. I do SEO for realtors and have had a lot of success in terms of getting my clients more traffic by putting them up higher in serach engine results pages.
Id love to talk about this with you and will only offer to help if what you want is within my reach. I always test the market before I take on a client in order to gaurantee results. Just for one example Sam Ramsey in Baraboo Wisconsin was #3 on yahoo overnight and basically doubled her web traffic immediately.
MORE SALES? You be the judge. I am very reasonable in terms of rates too.

Go back to the basics. Farm, make daily contacts, and ask everyone you see "Who do you know that is thinking of selling or buying real estate?. It's a poven winner. It seems to be a tougher market than we've had in a long time. Good Luck.

Hi Ayvette. It's difficult to advise you without knowing what you are already doing. My general suggestion is to develop a solid lead generation plan and execute it consistently. Consistency is the key to success and even a bad plan will yield result if you execute it consistently. Many agents either don't have a plan at all or they are not consistent in what they do and/or don't do it long enough. Things will not change over night and there's no substitute for hard work. I would also suggest that you ask your broker or sales manager to help you establish a plan. Good luck to you.
