I am looking to get licensed in both TX and CA and would like to know if there are any brokers who i might be able to hold my license with.

Yes and No is likely the answer.
Why get licensed in both states.
Are you going to actively list and sell in both states?
There may be better alternatives to get licensed in both, paying fees in both states, etc.

At Keller Williams as probably with most big brands we have offices in both places, but they likley have to be different brokerages due to the licensing laws. So we probably need to look at what you are trying to accomplish and see if we can point you in the right direction.

Feel free to give me a call.

Thanks Bruce. The reason why i am asking is because I do know of a broker here in Houston that is beginning to market to the LA area via his website. Based on research I have done I believe he can do this as long as he passes the brokerage test and has a California based physcial business address. He is with Re Max and I know of agents here in Houston that are going back and forth between the LA office. I just wonded if this is something atypical or is it done alot.
Bascially I am interested in living in Texas while working in CA because it is cheaper to live in TX and i love the CA weather... best of both worlds. That being said
I am not sure if i need a broker who is like the one i mentioned above or can I just find one in California who would understand that I am not a permenant resident.

I actually was trying to figure out a way to be able to sell real estate and not be limited to my area or State both foreign and domestic. But I think I figured out how to do it without getting licenses EVERYWHERE. I am about to Sign with Keller Williams in Katy Texas and their network of agents will help me in reaching clients. They have a referral program that is built in to their system where I can receive and give referrals on a fee basis.
