How satisfied are the members of SIBOR with regard to the services of CSS?

Today I requested an appointment through CSS to show another agents property. This evening I received a call from CSS - the operator stated she was calling on my behalf to request an appointment from me for the other agents property. It it any wonder why I have not received a confirmation yet. The operator is in dire need of training.

No matter how many times I remind them to read the showing instructions they continue to make the same mistakes. To answer my own question - not very satisfied, there is much improvement needed.

Thanks Linda, I believe Wisconsin is serviced by a different group than Staten Island, I am more interested in hearing from the Staten Island, NY Real Estate Community.

My experience has shown there are some excellent operators, but many of the operators fail to read the showing instructions on their screen, or improperly identify the company seeking the appointment by confusing it with the listing company.

Now that there are more Staten Island members on Trulia, and 5 months have past since the original question, it may be a good time to revisit the original question. Any new comments?

Thank you for your answer Joyce. Of the 809 Trulia members in Staten Island yours stands alone at this time. I thought many more would express an opinion as I very often hear verbal comments on the subject.

The employees of CSS have a very difficult job. Generally they provide very good service, however, there are times when mistakes are made. But is it because they are not given proper instructions by the listing or showing agents?

I've had instances where the showing agent changes the appointment so many times causing the homeowner so much confusion that I have had to intervene. Not to mention the times when the showing agent doesn't show up for an appointment and doesn't have the common courtesy to call CSS to cancel.

I've had situations where I was told a lockbox is on the door, but when the key is used, the homeowner is in the home (once exiting the shower with a towel around him). Shouldn't the instructions be to ring the bell before using the key?

I've also witnessed other agents screaming at the CSS reps for no apparent reason. As in every other life situation, if you treat people with respect and courtesy, they usually reciprocate.

To answer your question - I have been very satisfied with the services of CSS.

I have been using CSS (Centralized Showing Services) for a couple of years and I have only had one incident and I'm not even sure if it was them or the buyer's agent. They are always prompt and polite and I have not had any complaints from my clients.
