How much are managing brokers getting paid, to train new agents and handle all personel issues?

Asked by Sally Luehman, 53941 Sun Nov 30, 2008

Broker wants to retire soon and managing broker wants to move into position with some leadership position already in place. Hard to say how many hours but training 4 new agents and retaining/motivating 6 existing agents.

Manager should be paid by percentage of the broker split or net profit. That will intent the manager's motivtion as a owner. He/she should provide business report every month and preposal every quater. As an office with less than 10 associates, His/her report should be 300-600 words on double line e-file. That is easy for you to read, note and save it. The preposal should be 500-1000 words with the same formating and cover the next one year planning.

The manager havs to also ask the associate to do the same thing. And another important thing is the manager should not have his/her own case. He/she should assign an associate to handle his/her own case. He/she can not do market as an associate too. The manager should manage in the office full time. Do not use the top producer to be the manager.

Not enough! I think this position should be worth 1500-2000 per month.
