How long are California brokers required to keep documents related to a transaction?

Asked by Cody Swartz, Phoenix, AZ Mon Mar 17, 2014

Someone I know is buying a house that was sold in 2009 to the current sellers. They made note on the disclosure form that many things were that way when they bought it. I was wondering what the laws are in CA because it might be helpful to find out the previous disclosures.

Thanks, John! I know laws, rules, and regulations differ greatly from state to state. That helps me a lot.
