How do Netbooks perform with Winforms and MLS?

I'm considering getting a netbook vs a small lightweight laptop so I can do offers with winforms on the fly. Does anyone have any experience with netbooks? Can they handle the MLS? Winforms? Too slow? work fine? I have a laptop - but it's huge. I have a great mobile printer already.

Jeri,

What I also do so my computers dont get bombarded with files, I use an external HD so I can keep my netbook clean of pretty much any files.

I have an Acer netbook that we got for it's portability.
It works fine for the MLS, email, web, etc.
Haven't tried it with Winforms yet.

It's actually faster than the laptop and desktop that we have in my opinion.

I use a Asus 1000HE and can get on my local MLS just fine and multi task with various programs. Now if I try to run videos and a few websites at the same time I might see a slower speed but other than that its a great computer.

Would not use it as my sole computer though.
