Hi Adelle,
it all depends on location. Your husband's job location that is. Because of the long commute, you will be better served by getting a house closer to his job. The places you've mentioned have very good schools and are great places to raise a family, if you already have one or are planning to start one soon. However, if his contract is going to be for an extended period of time, you'll do better by buying a house. That is off course, if the "extension" is a few years long, that way you could be building quity as supposed to spend money in a rental property, because that's money you'll never see again. Anyway if you need more information, or an agent, email me and we'll talk. Good Luck!

Hi Adelle,

You will probably be bombarded with e-mails. Anyway , the Calabasa-Woodland Hills areas are closer to each other. They are in the Northern San Fernando Area while Arcadia is in the San Gabriel Valley. These areas that you have chosen are very family-oriented neighborhood and boast excellent public schools from the elementary to high school. I will give it a shot and tell me which properties you prefer and then we can go to the specifics. Talk to you...
