Agent2Agent in Wilmington>Question Details

Robert Hanson, Real Estate Pro in ,

Hello, I have two potential clients that are re-locating to the Wilmington area. They have requested that I gather some information for them.

Asked by Robert Hanson, , Mon Mar 10, 2014

One has children and is interested in school districts and quality neighborhoods for them as well as job market info. The other is an "empty nester" and is interested in feedback on appropriate/nice neighborhoods for them. I know these are broad requests, but I would like to be able to give them some helpful information. I'm sure at some point they will be asking for realtor referrals as well... :)

Any help would be appreciated!

Hi Robert,

I have pasted two very helpful links for you to pass along to your clients. One is to the Wilmington Chamber site, a great resource for someone thinking of relocating. The other link is to the New Hanover County Schools Annual Report for your clients with children. The Parsley, Roland-Grise, and Ashley district have the best reputations in the Wilmington Area. For your "Empty Nesters" I recommend the Mayfaire Town area neighborhoods, there is plenty of social interactions in this area along with great restaurants, pubs and only a few miles to Wrightsville Beach. Another great area is Porter's Neck Plantation, a little more laid back but beautiful grounds, golf course, country club etc.

Hope this is helpful to you, let me know if you need anything else.

Thank you very much! I will pass this on to them. To be honest, I have no idea of their time frame, etc. They are just starting to feel things out. How I ended up with two separate people up here both looking for info on Wilmington, I have no idea. lol.

I have all your contact info from your email and I have forwarded it them along with the info you provided. I have referred to you as "a business associate". Both of these individuals live in the Olney/Brookeville are in Maryland so if you get a call at some point from that area. This is why.

If you have any clients with tricky or worrisome financing potential that you would like an opinion on, feel free to get in touch with me. Sometimes I can figure something out where others haven't had any luck.

I will email you some bullet points on some of my more interesting stuff.

Thanks again!
