End of year plans. Will you push or take time off?

Asked by John Souerbry, Palo Alto, CA Sat Oct 27, 2012

I have one very large transaction closing in November, then I'll be taking December to prepare for 2013. Some agents market hard to try to get a few more transactions done by the end of the year. What do you do in December?

Same thing as we do every other month. Push hard, stay motivated, and keep working. Business as usual. Christmas week we will probably take off, but otherwise we will keep pushing.

I too will be working at getting things in place for 2013.

Hi John,
December is a great time to reconnect with your past and current clients to wish them a happy holiday season and offer then best wishes in the new year.
As always, prospecting is the name of the game no matter what month it is.

Best wishes on your November closing!

Burning the candle at both ends year round! Can't say we are busier this time of year, but in the slow sales season I work just as hard to stay ahead of the game.

As of right now I am busier than I have been all year! I find this time of year people are rushing to make their final plans before the snow hits. I anticipate being busy until December 15 and then the market tends to slow down here until about February when people start getting restless with cabin fever!

We are only JUST getting into our season. From mid November to mid March we will start to hit our stride. December should be busy with a break for the holidays in the middle of the frenzy. By the looks of things so far, could be a very busy season...
