Not if you're trying to look like a professional paper weight! :-)

If you can't sleep, then get up and do something instead of lying there worrying. It's the worry that gets you, not the lack of sleep. ~Dale Carnegie

Yes. It gives the impression that you're:

1. a narcoleptic;
2. sleeping off an "all-nighter"; or
3. lazy.

I get the point of the photo but I personally don't like it for its cause. It looks more disorganized than workaholic.

Why not go for something more universally appealing, yet not a "Glamour Shot" like many agents use; maybe a candid lifestyle shot (not a stiff, posed plaster-face) with a warm, genuine smile on a plain white background? Have it taken professionally.

Glenn,
Depends on your clientèle.. if you are dealing with a lot of young hip clients.. they may find it more refreshing then the professional head shot. If you are dealing with an older crowd then the answer is yes.. you look like one of their kids..

Bravo for thinking outside the box, but too risky a move. I get the point too (it is "I work so hard for you I fall asleep at my desk" isn't it??) But an image of sharp and smart working is better. Think about the philosophy in CRS of "ninja selling". I love the concept, batman crashing through the skylight at the office, sending a fax and then vanishing. The ninja only works 30-40 hours a week and makes 5 times as much as you working 80 hours a week.....work smart, not hard. So keep thinking outside the box Glenn, but consider each idea and it's impact. This one is too risky and doesn't help cover those losses enough.
Differentiating is GOOD, this is indeed differentiation but it's not so good, change it!

You remind me of a high school kid sleeping in class because he has a full time job at night. Get some sleep kiddo.

Thanks for the laugh, I have a seller who looks amazingly like this! I don't know about this picture thang -- the top of my head is always chopped off so no one can see my thinking cap!
