Just an FYI: Don't throw away your combo boxes. Although I prefer the Supras, many Realtors have rejected the expense of both the Supras and keypads. The same holds true for the other service industries.
I found myself having to often meet the agents to let them in, so I've been using more and more combos.

I prefer Supra as well. Often, agents forget close doors, windows, turn off light, forget to leave keys, at least you know who was there. If they don't have supra, they can borrow from their office or I'll come there to open the property.

Hey Jim, just wanted to let you know that I had a seller call the office to tell me that he was leaving his back door open for fresh air and to close when I left the house. I had no appointments that day for showings but he had my name and office and said that someone using my name had called and made the appointment. Ever since I use Supra. Our information is public and the Supra lockbox at least insures that a realtor member is going into the house and the information recorded. The cost of supra and key (which is now on my phone) is a cost of doing business and if an agent has to worry about that expense then maybe they should not be in the business. I may open a house once or twice if convenient but otherwise they can borrow an ekey from someone.

Tony, thanks a million for this site, I had no idea it existed. GREAT IDEA.

And Peggy, thanks for asking the question, I always wondered where we could buy these discounted.

If you still need lock boxes. I have several all in good condition and they are already programmed to regional MLS, so we can transfer them too you. Make me an offer!

Peggy,
Check with your local Realtor Association. Many of them have used boxes at 50% of the original price. Many Realtors have dropped the Supra, instead using combos, plus many have not renewed their license.

Hi Peggy.

I think a great idea would be to 'boycott' GE/Supra until they lower their prices to something reasonable, say where prices were 3-4 years ago. That's not asking much.

GOOD LUCK.

Congratulations on starting your own business. I will ask I don't have any but I will ask around our office. Good for you for using the Supra boxes; I had a non-realtor try to gain access to a house that was on a combo. Used my name. Luckily I got a call to confirm and had to tell them I was not scheduled to show the house.

Good luck!
