I have been using free property information from http://www.searchq.com that has the property record for most of the houses in the US.
If you want more detail in the lien (if your property has it) you can pay a small fee to download a comprehensive property report that has mortgage information, ownership history, tax record and even possible judgement.

The real estate information website http://www.nextace.com has more detailed information for you in case you want to do a title research on a property.

Yes, you can search by address, just put in the street number and street. Not all records may be in there. For example - when I do a search of my house, nothing comes up. I've done a search of a property my client bought a few years ago, and was able to find mechanics liens that had been filed against the developer.

Thanks Connie, but that only allow me to search Names but not by addresses. Were you able to search by address on that?
