Help the community by answering this question:

Go to and it will auto populate to over 20 different sites, Trulia, Craigslist, yuvee, yahoo, google, etc (It will give you the html code to cut and paste) so you don't have to input the info over and over again. One site is'nt enough!!!! Lets face it just using one site is average and we don't want be average. Sometimes i hold it an open house in shifts. I do 2 hours and another agent does two hours. It depends on the listing. If its a luxury listing you may want to use different websites. See my post regarding 7th level open houses. I disagree with the agent that says we cant control the traffic. We can and we should if we want to brand ourselves as a successful agent. Thats like saying we cant control how many people come to a party or other special event. OF COURSE WE CAN. its called marketing and branding. Have a raffle, "come by to enter a chance to win a starbucks gift card" or free cup of coffee to all who visit!

I use craigslist to post open houses, but do get a lot of spam.

As a Loan Originator I do co-marketing with Realtors and FSBO's. I create a flyer and a slideshow with all property info incl. financial info (mortg. paym., taxes, HOA fees etc.).

The flyer gets distributed to neighbors, friends, family, church, supermarket etc. and handed out during the open-house.

I also create the flyer as a slideshow and post it on Facebook, YouTube and over 20 other website using

A t t e n t i o n : Realtors in Florida!! Should you be interested in receiving this free marketing tool, please feel free to contact me at and I will send you a sample flyer.

Intertested to read comments about Craigs list - the increase of spam from my postings there caused me to pull back on that one. To those that are still getting good results from Craigs list, what are doing that makes it effective.

Hi Gloria,

A sincere question... I use Postlets as well to syndicate my listings. How are you using to advertise open house information? Are you placing in notes or is there a feature that allows you to input open house dates as well?

Craigslist is "iffy" to me given all the scams that have been posted. All the rest are fine!
