There is actually several hospitals in 3 different towns closest to you. There is a hospital in Cartersville, GA - there is also 2 hospitals in Rome, GA and 1 hospital in Calhoun, GA. I guess it will depend upon where your location is in 30103 as to which one is closest to you. Hope this helps!... more
If I were an attorney, I'd advise you that Georgia is a non-judicial state and and that the foreclosure process can begin in as early as thirty days regardless of whether you allow them into your home. That first step usually involves placing an ad in the county organ announcing their intention to foreclose, so search your property address frequently at http://www.GeorgiaPublicNotices.com to see if you find it there.
Please don't tarry on this one. There are a few things that you should consider doing now. First, determine if your mortgage is backed by the Federal Government (FHA, Fannie Mae, Etc.) because those types of loans offer several benefits for you. You can check Fannie Mae at "http://www.fanniemae.com/loanlookup/". You should also arrange for credit counseling through NFCC.org so that your options can be clearly explained to you without hidden agendas. They'll provide a list of several helpful non profits in your area that can help you get things in order and the information required to do that.
The most important thing to do, however, is to keep the lines of communication open and be cooperative with your lender. If an appraisal is what they want, I would recommend allowing them to do that.
