That said, FHA doesn't underwrite loans. They insure them so long as the loan file comply with their basic guidelines . Underwriting loans is solely the responsiblity of the lender.
Furthermore, FHA does not reject or black list properties. Again, a loans approval or rejection is in the hands of the lender and deals solely with the borrower's credit worthiness. A property that has repairs issues that, if left uncorrected, could be exclude from FHA financing. But that's only so long as as those repairs are not done.
Lastly, When it comes to your case file #, upon receipt of a transfer request, the lender currently holding the case number most transfer it within 48 hrs. No exceptions.... more
