In reviewing the multiple listing it does state that agent should contact listing agent prior to writing an offer and that additional addendums are required. Don't know the details of how offer was made, earnest money, disclosures, etc . Your agent may want to call listing agent and ask about your offer and why it was cancelled....perhaps it will be coming back on the market? This is not a seller owned property These type properties are more difficult to sell and circumstances can happen without notice or explanations to the prospective buyers. All good answers below. And remember too, finding the buyer is only a small part of what the listing agent does. The negotiating, the paperwork, and protecting your best interests throughout the transaction is a huge value you are paying for too.
