You would need to be more specific but Arizona does have its fair share of our Scorpion friends. There are two ways I effectively keep them out of my house, good regular pest control and of course the less conventional "Cat" method. My cats kill and chase any scorpions that survive the chemicals and it would appear that they are immune from the pain of a sting!... more
To give you some insight where to get your info...
a) as far as the water quality is concerned - each village usually has a once a year water quality report, so contact them and ask for a copy of it.....
b) once you are decided to buy a property during the inspection process you can have the water quality checked..... once you live there, most villages will come out from time to time to check the water quality, plus you can always install a good water filtration system, there are many different ones in the market
c) what is close to where you intend to buy, once you narrow down a village, subdivision, or neighborhood, put one of the addresses into google, and then add shopping center etc. and see what pops up, usually when you search for a hotel on google map, it also shows other information around the area.....
and if and when --- and I hope you will use the expert services of an experienced Buyers Agent,
their services are usually FREE to you, and paid by the Sellers, so why in the world would you
want to make decisions on a big expense in your life without the guidance of an Expert, protecting
your interests every step of the way, from getting you pre-approved and finding you the right hoem for YOU....
That Realtor then will also be able to find you what is close, and even drive you by if need be.
Good Luck to you, if you need a recommendation for a local Realtor, get back to us here and we
gladly make some good recommendations.

While as a realtor, we cannot comment on neighborhoods, now is the best time to invest because of the prices. I personally lived in Tolleson for many years and know the area well. Due to the current market and conditions of the mortgage industry, we will most likely see a rise in rentals which means investors may see a good rate of return on investments.... more
Hi, hope you are doing well and getting ready for a good Thanksgiving.
The market has improved in the past 5 months in Tolleson. There continues to be about a 70 to 80 day supply of active homes for sale in Tolleson. This is much improved from as recently as March when there was an over 200 day supply in Tolleson.
Home prices in Tolleson are currently averaging $53.26 per square foot. Your house may be worth more due to the recent age and size of the lot and other features.
If you would like me to list it or someone in my office, I would be pleased to do so and provide you with a weekly listing/sales report of showings and your neighborhood sales in comparison.
Let me know if you would like a comparitive market analysis of your actual property in comparison to similar homes within a 1/2 miles radius.
Feel free to ask me any questions.

Issues of neighborhood safety are best referred to the local police department or count sheriff's department. They have access to the most accurate and current information and are generally willing to be supportive.
