Typically before you obtain a pre-approval from a lender you'd want to disclose all financial condition that you are in. Some lenders are more particular before giving you a pre-approval and some are not and let underwriters find out the obstacles further down the road. On the other hand some borrowers disclose their financial condition openly to their lenders and some don't and let the lenders find out more and more down the road.
Regardless which path that gets you there, your best bet right now is to talk to your lender.... more

Most of what falls into that price range will have diminishing marginal returns, meaning they are increasing in price but at a rate that is declining annually because they are either (1) older homes which depreciate naturally and (2) they were made with less than quality builders/design/materials so they donâ€™t have the same appreciation as a quality builder.
There are a few areas that buck the trend such as braun oaks and braun station. If you go south toward the medical center you will find many too. I suggest you consider duplexes and townhomes too. Also, you may want to review GRM for a investors' tool. Gross Rent Multipliers of 10 or lower are best, and if you find one under 8 then call me and I'll buy it!
