Sally and Alan have offered excellent perspective in answer to your question!
My two cents concerns what is not readily apparent to a newly licensed agent; the importance of supporting roles!
There are many "hands" in a real estate transaction. While agents are the hub and receive "top billing," they (we) cannot perform our duties without those who support us. All supporting roles are necessary, and all who have supporting roles are compensated.
Your native language may prove to be a gold mine! What good is it to have a client who speaks your language if the agent (or broker) named on the flyer does not? The agent or broker will need your assistance, and in your supporting role, you will be paid!
Your future in the business looks bright! Best of luck!!
