There must be high demand for that area or for that particular house due to location, condition, etc. If it is a foreclosure we are experiencing many homes going for above list price...but not owner occupied homes.... more
I am very familiar with the history of the house listed in there right now. The lots are large and it is a great neighborhood and I believe that the houses will start selling faster now as Hamilton Town Center is near and there is also a plan of a Kroger and Hospital near by. If you have any questions about this property or would like to view it please let me know. I would be happy to help.... more
Hi Jessie, I don't understand why your Realtor did not explain what was
happening to you. Did he run out of town? That listing expired on
January 22, 2009. The exemptions are still in place and I see no
evidence that it has sold. Of course it is 1:30am as I write this, so I
can't call and get an answer for you yet. In a pre-foreclosure situation,
the bank and the seller have to accept your offer. The seller is still
very much in the picture and he can't afford to bring money to the table. What was enough money to
pay off his delinquent mortgage 6 months ago, might not be enough now, with penalties and interest
adding up. Your Realtor should be able to tell you what's happened since you made your offer and if
there is an opportunity for you to come back and offer again.
If not, please call or text me....... or about 5000 other Realtors here to help you. I prefer me, of course.
Thanks, Marita Topmiller
