Send the Bank a Bill for the cost of repairing the damage to your lawn!! The property appraiser's office will have their name and address where you can send a certified letter and then if you have to take them to small claims court so you can get a judgement to put a lien on the property. Then when it ultimately sells the bank will have to pay off your lien!
Now if the bank doesn't yet own it and it is merely in pre-foreclosure and still owned by the borrower then you may have more difficulty.
