Depending on the listing arrangement with the broker, usually you can pay the lesser of one month's rent or a percentage based on the actual rented price. Based on the rental price per month of your property, you can ask to go with either the "one month" or the percentage, whichever is less for you.
Example: A waterfront condo renting for $5,000 a month at 10% commission will have a fee of $6,000. If you decide to go on the "one month fee" it will cost you $5,000. You can also negotiate the percentage paid with your broker but most of the time it will come close to the one month fee.... more
S- There are several factors involved. If you are looking for
both Management and Rental Services that would be priced
differently than Rental Service alone. You have two choices for
Agent relationships .One is a Management Company. The other
would be with a Sales/Rental Agent at a Real Estate Brokerage.!
The Pricing should be considered along with Agent availability,
ability to perform,and experience.
Internet Marketing, Access to Property Servicing needs, and the
flexbility to customize the services you need , will make the best
combination of "price and terms" stand out ! Check out at least
several Agents before Listing , and compare. Best for Success!
