Hi Essam,
Here are some homes which may fit your criteria, though I recommend that you follow up with their agents to ask about your Section 8 voucher.

Matthews and fringe south park areas will probably be lowest, then Ballantyne, core of Southpark, then uptown most expensive. If you appreciate an answer, please give thumbs up. For the most helpful answer, please say thanks with a best answer click.... more
Carlos,
Your question on the Olde Whitehall area of Charlotte is a centrally located place in the southwestern end of Charlotte. it has easy access to highways and major roads as well as shopping and getting just about anything you need.
In terms of answering your question about it beign loud, party area nd the crime rate...well that is a differnet story for a Realtor to answer. We are bound by Fair housing laws and a code of Ethics which preclude us from steering soemone toward a specific neighborhood or away from a specific neghborhood based on race, color, religion, famil status, national origin and handicap. A violation of this can cause a Realtor to lose their liscence forever and face federal charges.
What we can do as Realors is help you find information to help with your descsion and direct you to various website links or suggest where to look to find out the information so you can make a descsion that is best for you...beucase in addition to what the Fair Housing law states one person interpretation of what is safe and loud party area may not be what anotehr one thinks....
for the cirme date I always recommend my clients go to the Charlotte mecklenburg police website. it is http://charmeck.org/city/charlotte/CMPD/Pages/default.aspx From there click on the link on the top toolbar for for your safety and the sublink for crime mapping. Follow the directions and put in the address fo any house you are interested in and it will pull up the cirmes in that area by distance.
Another thing I have done in the past when i moved to places i was unfamiliar with was go through the neighborhood at differnet times of the day and see what it was like and get out and talk to neighbors and see what they think of the neighborhood...
I hope this hleps you and I wish you the best of luck with your move.

Good evening, SM:
Where you locate will depend on your target monthly rental payment and required size of unit. If you need 1 bedroom and have $4000 a month to spend, your options will be different than if you need 3 bedrooms and have $1200 a month. Best to find a good property manager and have them help you find the ideal fit. If you appreciate an answer, please give thumbs up. I hate to disagree with someone in the Real Estate field, but Hawfield Farms only has a 29% rating on Apartment Rental Ratings site. When I was looking for a place for a family member to live, I used this rating site to help me navigate the apartment rentals out there. http://www.apartmentratings.com/
