You can find auction information in the Sunday Courant real estate section. If the property has not been advertised, you can look up the case on the judicial system website and find the Committe for Sale appointed by the court. He/she will be able to tell you what the scheduled sale date is.
To bid, you must bring a certified check (made out to yourself) for the downpayment amount specified in the auction ad, typically 10% of the minimum bid. If you win the bid you will sign it over to the Committee for Sale.
