If you're wanting to try and sell FSBO (for sale by owner), you can't list it here. You can list it on Zillow, and it will show up here eventually. If you're just wanting to update the home info just because....then WHY? Most people want to remove photos for security & privacy reasons. Besides...if it's not for sale then nobody is looking at your home, or cares about the estimated value. (except you). PLUS...the estimated values are completely inaccurate and unreliable.... more
Flood insurance isn't so scary, if you get a certificate of elevation, chances are that you will pay under $1000 and isn't that just a piece of mind for a flood that hopefully will never occur again..if you are taking our a mortgage you will need flood insurance, although it only pays you for minimal work but its something..FEMA is looking to replenish its funds for all the floods that have been happening all over..since new Orleans...... more
Why exclude the Expert? Home Valuation is a area, condition and market driven criteria. Zillow and other so called "experts" cannot give current market data. Try this tool ,
It is developed by Realtor.com, a vetted site, which if you are data driven , this will give your market price. all other values being equal .

Ask your condo association if there is a waiting list for garage spaces. In Queens every building has a waiting list. You should sell it to somebody in your building quickly. Are you allowed to put a notice in the laundry room or mailbox area?
If you don't have anybody in your building, try the buildings next to you. You will be surprised how many people have 2 cars and can only get a spot for 1 car.... more
These online values are 100% meaningless. It has nothing to do with your home's actual market value nor does it have any impact on what an appropriate asking price should be or what a buyer would be willing to pay.
It is literally a made up number that some algorithm came up base on a bunch of random criteria. It not arrived at in remotely the same way that a real estate agent or appraiser or even a buyer would arrive at an appropriate price for your home.... more
