If the lender puchased the home you potentially can still work out something with the lender. However, you need to have money to address the oustanding debt or do a modification or some other arrangement. This does not happen often unless the bank makes a mistake. So good luck with working with bank if they are the winning bidder.
If someone else is the winning bid it will even be more difficult, because they purchased it with the intent to make money or buy the house for themselves.
First of all anyone can bid at a foreclosure auction to purchase a property or lien right. Also you indicated that 1st New Horizon was the orinator of the loan so they could of sold the mortgage to medlifed over time. So Medlifed could be the legal holder to the lien. Who filed the foreclosure action?
