2 suggestions. One is to go thru Craigslist and deal directly with the owners and not rental agencies. They honestly have the most rentals in the area. Lot of residents and students in this town so there is a good rental market here. Two is to call Piedmont Federal about a mortgage. They do not sell their mortgages in the open market so they are much more flexible and creative and you may be able to buy using them.
