My grandson struggled in public school. He is now in his second year at BCA and is thriving. The school has great academics and positive re-enforcement from teachers. He now loves to go to school. I am so glad we found BCA for him!

My husband and I are very pleased with BCA, we had our eldest son in public school for his kindergarten year, and we were definately NOT impressed. My son is in the Pre-K class. When he started the school year he knew his colors and shapes and could identify a few numbers and letters. My son is doing wonderful at Bolivar Christian Academy. His teacher has gotten to know him and that didn't happen at the public school that he was going to a year ago. I cannot say enough about BCA. Everyone that works there is beyond amazing. A great loving caring environment. Advanced Placement

AP classes are college-level classes offered at the high school level. Once a student completes an AP class and passes a final comprehensive examination conducted by the College Board, the student earns college credit for the course. AP classes are specific and not to be confused with other higher-level classes such as honors classes.

Before/After School

"Extended day" programs where the school day is extended before and after school to accommodate working parents. These programs should not be confused with common after school clubs or athletic activities.

Gifted and Talented

Vocation/Technical Curriculum

Vocational and/or technical courses offered within a comprehensive school, usually a senior high school.

Special Education Classes

A school or program within a school that provides services and training to students with moderate to severe mental and/or physical disabilities.

Adult Education Classes

Programs offering GED or equivalent courses for adults within regular schools, whether classes are held during evening or daytime schedules.

English as Second Language

English language classes for students whose first language is not English.
