Read what parents are saying about Divine Savior Holy Angels High SchoolI graduated from dsha is 2019. And I would reccomend the school to a very limited group. It did prepare me well for university education however both the social community and the administration are lacking in ridiculous amounts. Recently, I decided to apply to 2 schools as a transfer student. In order to complete my applications, I paid DSHA to send my highschool transcripts to two universities. Only one school ever received my transcripts, long after the date they were due after using an unofficial transcript of mine to make their admission decision. The other university never received my transcripts and thus, I never got an admission decision. I know of other students with the same experience. DSHA Admin is known for not holding their end of similar business and has failed both alum and attending students on repeat. I would reccomend this school to students from wealthy white families, who attended a catholic grade school, or to students who would otherwise be in the MPS district.
Posted by a community member on 10/12/2021DSHA is a great school. 3 of my nieces attend here. They love their school! If your daughter is interested in going here, I would recomend the summer camps. They really helped my nieces get a feel for the school. Plus, the camps were a lot of fun. You can find more info on their website. DSHA is a great environment for your girls!
Posted by a community member on 11/4/2018I am currently a student at DSHA and I love it. The students are there to learn, which makes for a very positive learning environment. The teachers do a superb job and go out of their way to ensure the success of each and every student. The courses are rigorous, yet manageable and pleasantly enjoyable. Overall, DSHA is a great place to learn and have fun while developing lifelong skills and becoming a knowledgeable, well-rounded individual. It is a great school.
Posted by a student on 3/5/2014DSHA is a great alternative to Milwaukee public schools. However, for the more competitive, highly- rated districts like Mequon, Hartland, or Elmbrook, think about it carefully. Some poor teachers are kept because they believe in the mission. Math and science are weak, unless the student is on the AP or honors track. Parents who have kids at both MUHS and DSHA will admit DSHA is great for athletics. There is a culture of alcohol that permeates all parent activites. It is the elephant in the room. The English department is quite strong, as is the theatre arts. The whole "we get girls" mantra is true, and the students make lifelong friendships.
Posted by a parent on 12/12/2013I am a DSHA alumn, class of 1998! My whole educational background before HS was public schools from West Allis and early on Milwaukee. Public schools cannot even hold a candle to the wonderful education I received at DSHA. The teachers went above and beyond to make sure you were always on track, you were never just a number. The economical backgrounds of the student body was diverse. My family was not rich and I never felt an issue with that, nor did I view the school as snobby. It was all about getting a wonderful education, building confidence, become a young woman, and having fun while doing so! Do not be intimidated by an all girl atmosphere or the tuition, this school is for any girl of any ethnic or economical background who wants to get ahead and have fun while doing so!

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI would highly recommend Madison Elementary School! Madison Elementary is the most diverse school in the Wauwatosa School district. The school exhibits a positive community experience where all students are part of the school. Teachers are very caring, dedicated, and professional.Parent Review1y ago - Craig Montessori School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageA few great teachers like Mrs Christine and the Gym teacher Mr Wensel. The principal Ms Tooks is so unprofessional. She does not respond to emails.. She lies to parents and I disliked the school even more because of her lack of professionalism she really needs to go. Glad I got my three star kiddos out they absolutely deserved better. MPS need to do better with who they have in charge. Just unacceptable.Parent Review6mo ago - Milwaukee German Immersion School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageTruly, I have been extremely happy with this school for the past 3 years. The staff truly care. They are very good at what they do, and they have a HUGE support system in the parents, volunteers, and PTA. The students learn interesting and important content - all while learning German. The kids are held to a reasonably challenging standard, and most kids seem to do well once they accept that challenge.Parent Review4y ago - Emerson School

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy son was enrolled at this school for the K4 program. The curriculum was very good, however there was a disconnect between the teachers and the students. They really just wanted to complete the task at hand which was their lesson. If there was a problem with bullying (which is a huge problem at this school) they would not address it properly. They would move on as if the issue did not exist. This is very concerning.Parent Review6y ago - Ninety-Fifth Street School

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageBoth my children have been going to this school for the past 20 years and they have both had such great experiences and it’s really home for them. They love the teachers and the environment, which is safe and comfortable for them. Despite the ratings, which I feel are not accurate, the teachers and staff do their best at encouraging these children and they do a great job. I’ve never encountered a bad situation with any of the kids here. They’re all well behaved and happy.Parent Review5mo ago
