Posted by a parent on 4/25/2023This school is amazing! The staff and other students are so welcoming and our kids loving to school. We couldn't be happier with our decision to transfer here.
Posted by a parent on 1/29/2023We have experience with both public and private schools in the area. My child is doing very well in this school. Small class size and academic challenge are wonderful. The school has new leadership as of a couple years ago, and things have been running well from what I can tell. The only issue we had with another student being mean was addressed quickly and effectively by administration. There is one class per grade level, which may be small for some families. However, there are many options to get involved and get to know others if you choose. I would say a mix of backgrounds as well.
Posted by a community member on 1/30/2016The staff at St. Francis de Sales has been extremely responsive to any concerns we have brought forth. Our child(ren) is(are) very happy and feel blessed to be at this school.
Posted by a parent on 4/14/2014The discipline policy here is a joke. They tell the kids to "mind their own business" whenever they report violent or bullying behavior. You couldn't pay us to return to this school. The administration needs to go! Absolutely ridiculous!!!!!!!

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI am 20 now but I went to this school from kindergarten to 5th grade and the memories that stuck with me most were the memories of teachers confiscating my Pokémon cards during recess “until after school” and my first grade teacher taking my Bulbasaur pencil sharpener “until the end of the school year”. (My dad and I visited the office after school the same day that one of the teachers confiscated my tin container filled with rare Pokémon cards I was showing a classmate during recess and the teachers denied that it ever happened. As for the sentimental Bulbasaur pencil sharpener that my 1st grade teacher put in her desk drawer, when I asked about it during the last week of school she checked her desk and after being unable to find it she claimed she didn’t remember it at all.) I loved Cen-Den as most of the teachers were super kind, considerate, and wanted the best for their students making it a great environment to grow up in, however, the loss of my Bulbasaur pencil sharpener was truly heartbreaking and unforgettable. This would definitely be a 5-star review if it weren’t for the memories of these tragedies and the teachers’ total disregard for the permanent loss of my personal belongings. N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy daughter started 1st grade this year and this is an absolutely wonderful school. Safe environment, very small class sizes (10 students), challenging curriculum, and teaches about the bible and the importance of God in our lives. Worth every penny of money I spent.Parent Review13y ago - First Lutheran School

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageOur school has a clear mission of providing a quality education and a strong Christian foundation through God's word. We are not just a school, but a family that cares for each student. We could not think of a more supportive, loving environment for our children. And their academics are amazing, because it is a multi-grade classroom set-up, which internationally is recognized as producing top reading scores. We are currently fundraising to keep up with technological advancements by purchasing chromebooks for each student. The teachers and staff continually are adapting to higher education standards, while remaining true to a solid Christian foundation. We are truly blessed by having this educational opportunity in our community!Parent Review10y ago - Maple Park Charter School
