I am also a former student at Neenah High School, and I am now almost finished with my college years. I have to tell you that if I had any choice of redoing my high school experience, I would never in a million years choose a different high school. It is a huge school, but because of that all of my

There are many students, so varsity sports are sometimes difficult to join, but always go to try-outs and if you don't make the team, you'll easily find information on intramurals and other options for extracurricular sports. Another advantage to its size is the number of available activities and classes. Every year the course list is a book! There's something for everyone at NHS! Read less

The possibilites are endless at NHS. I think that for a school of this size the staff, teachers and upper management is terrific. There are many extra curricular activities to be involved in from sports to math. Great Theatre productions too. Overall I think this school is definitely above average.

As a current freshman at NHS I'm telling you to not listen to all of the untruthful garbage that previous writers have wrote. Neenah High School is the most safe and inviting place I have ever been in . Ya, the school is very, very big , but hey have a program just for freshman called Launch which

The teachers are so helpful that I have asked questions one after the other and I was answered with a smile, because these teachers want to help and are glad when a student asks for it. I truly believe Neenah High School offers an amazing educational opportunity to all who attend. I am a former student, who graduated within the last ten years and remember high school as a time in which I learned a lot, made countless friends, and created many wonderful memories. I had several great

I believe there were a wide variety of extracurricular activities, although I agree with other posts that sports were very competitive and hard to be a part of if you lacked the appropriate skills. For those students who believe the activities don't relate to their interests I think they should start their own organizations. I know when I was in school this sort of action was encourage as long as it was appropriate for school. Get out there and make it happen! Read less

Neenah is a large school, that can be overwhelming to some, but overall it is pretty good. As a Neenah graduate who's currently teaching in an underperforming public school in Los Angeles, I feel a need to speak out about my overwhelmingly positive experience at NHS. I am also a former student. I went through college (which I loved) and I'm now a nurse. I was not part of the 'preppy' group, and the sad thing is is I think that realy makes or breaks your opinion of Neenah. As a former student, I provide a different perspective than previous posts. I graduated with an accounting degree from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh, and I am currently attending law school. Teachers and administration treat students with respect, and extracurricular activities are abundant. In my experience, parents were involved in all sporting activities, and they provided much support in helping to fulfill the needs of these activities. The WKCE-CRT is a standards-based test, which means it measures how well students are mastering specific skills defined for each grade by the state of Wisconsin.
